Are You Up for the Challenge?

We challenge anyone who is registered for the Race, including Sleep In participants, to join us in the 2010 Richmond Race for the Cure Donation Challenge! Your mission, should you choose to accept, is to raise the highest total donations online the week of April 19.

Deadline: The clock will begin promptly Monday morning at 9am on April 19 and end Monday morning at 9am on April 26.

Prize: The winner will receive a spotlight on our website, on Facebook and on Twitter, (as well as bragging rights) and the choice of a Komen watch or Komen t-shirt through the www.shopkomen.com site.

Registering for the Race is just your first step!
Collecting donations to support your Race for the Cure participation is what drives our community's progress in the fight against breast cancer. 75% of the funds you raise stay here in our local community to fund education, screening and treatment programs for uninsured and underinsured women throughout central Virginia. The other 25% funds vital research at the national level.

Fundraising IS easy! That’s what thousands of your fellow participants - people just like you - have discovered while fundraising for the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure®! Every dollar counts. Every dollar makes an impact on finding the cures for breast cancer. What are you waiting for? Start now!
